Found a k3500 ecdrw

Just ordered INjs from Tim at Accurate. Gonna frickin rain next weekend:mad:. I have alot of tools but no garage. I need a garage. A big one.

You know, I have the GMC grille for this truck. I wonder if it would look better than the chevy grille. GMC's are better ya know...
Should I use the Chevy grille or put the GMC one on ?

AHHH HAAAA. The plot thickens. So with Matt and Tim and Bill all over for a GTG and scratching our heads when we barely touched the truck why it started shakin like a sick whore on a piss pot...When the PO put the IP on he switched the PMD to one he bought off ebay and kept the one that came with the reman IP for a spare so who knows what condition the PMD was in to begin with. He got the reman from BAdger Diesel off ebay he said. Never heard of them.

iv done bussiness with them he is a really nice guy iv got his number if you would like to talk to him. he was looking at becoming a vendor here. i recently had him rebuild my db2 and a set of injectors great price. havent installed them yet motor is still in lot of pieces

ok. That is good to know. So what it looks like to me is for whatever reason PO pulled the PMD off the IP that Badger sent it to him with and put one on he had so All I nee to do it get my relocate on and should be good to go.

i asked the guy at badger about ds4's one time and he either returns the same PMD that is was sent to him with or puts on a new one depending on what the buyer wants. dont quote me on that it has been awhile since i talked to him. like i said i can get you his number if you would like to talk to him

Kenny when you tow pay special attention to make sure the clutch engages.

Even though its a Hayden Severe duty, it may be calibrated to GM specs, which is somewhere around or 220. It may lockup more % when engaged, but not sure if it will engage earlier, unmodded.

I really want to see this truck be your reliable, worry free, non-overheating tow/vacation truck.

I really think your previous trucks main issues were fan clutch related.

Always a member – just a question of a card carrying one or not.

Well you could get my curse. Not sure who has the worse one.

As to the exhaust leak you need new manifolds. Get them off ebay for 99 a pop. They warp and the ports don’t match the heads. I could not even bolt mine back on without a drill. No gasket used as soot seals them up.

The water pump looks like rust from sitting.

I have a spare ex manifold. If I need it I will use it.
BTW thanks to CTchevy427...I finally get my own personal smiley..

Hmmm... That is MY truck right there!

I ran mine with a bad exhaust leak for a month towing. It burned glow plugs from the outside and all the wiring on that side of the engine. Starter wire, glow plug wires, 4x4 wires, melted the wire loom plastic. Then there is the soot all over everything under the hood. The soot plugged air filters fast.

It takes high load and WOT to do this though.

Ahh A bit of cheer. My Flowmaster Crossover and downpipe have arrived. It always amazes me how fast Summit Ships. 2 days from order to door step and only 115$.

Buttoned up the Dually tonight. Took it for a ride all paraniod that something will be wrong with it. So far so good. I thought I heard a slight stumble once at idle but maybe I didn't . It seems to run fine. Next weekend I'll tackle the ex leak, DP and crossover, new glows and injs. I treated it to a car wash. Defintely takes some getting used to driving. It should be no problem I have driven lowbeds oil trucks dump trucks etc but I think when you sit in the dually you get in the mindset of a reg pickup and easy to forget those wheels are stickin out.
