With the new multi meter. Right at solenoid A I read 5.5ohms.

At terminal 22/23 I read 5.6 ohms

At terminal l /m. I read 5.5 - 5.6

To measure the current you need to move the red probe to contact “A”. Mode switch to position "A".

Pans off the truck so don’t want to turn ignition on unless I can just have the key in on position to hook scanner up

Grey connector.
Pin 2. 12.50 volts
Pin 3. Zero
Pin 4. Zero


Ignition On

Pin 2. 12.26 Volts
Pin 3 12.20 volts
Pin 4. 12.20 volts

You need to disassemble the TCM and take a photo of the board on both sides.

What’s the best way to prob them then ?

Do you have the pan removed? you can measure directly on the solenoids.

You can take a long needle from the syringe to get to the desired contact on the TCM

Do you want the connector unplugged at the solenoid and then check voltage with ignition on ?

At the pan


Red/ black wire. - 4.74volts
Light blue. —- 0.86 volts



Purple. - 4.22 volts
Grey. 4.22 volts
