I don't have a 6.5 anymore so pictures are out. Not a big deal to replace. All you need to do is flush the engine, rad and heater core with lots of fresh water. Blow out any excess. Fill with Evans and block the rad with cardboard or what ever. Leave the rad cap off or on the first notch. Drive...
Guess I will have to fix the sig. Any way here it is.

We have been selling Evans coolant for 7 years and use it ourselves. When we had the 6.5TD it worked well. You don't need a special water pump. As long as the truck has got a clean coolant system you will not have any issues with it. The only thin I recommend is replace your thermostats with...
Racor has updated the PFF5544. This filter originally came out in 05. Now its been updated and made better. Its a true Coalescer filter and traps 99% of the water. See attached PDF.
Racor has always been the standard in the marine industry for trapping water. Water can cause all kinds of bad...
Special Calibration Fan Clutch
Direct bolt on unit fits all 6.5 with serpentine (single) belt drive and 4 stud mounting configuration. Requires blade change on all pre 1997 vehicles.
"It has come to my attention that there are other suppliers representing OE fan clutches as 180° or similar...
My kit comes with all fittings needed no matter what year block you have. Also fits 2 and 4 wheel drive. Clamps to hold the lines so they don't rub. Plus plenty of years experience with these kits and 6.5TD's. We provide these kits to Heath and Peninsular. Always plenty in stock.

I'll never handle gauges because their are to many that have them now. As for fittings its easy to go to a good hardware store and get them. Its all common stuff.

You are correct, but the reason for the cooler is fittings. The OEM fittings are no longer available and using adapters is expensive and messing. Replacing the cooler so we can use standard flare fittings is the way to go. If lines ever do fail and you have your kit then yes you could buy lines...
The kit we have is a direct replacement for the OEM. Cooler is made in Canada with the same number of plates and lines in the US. Comes with all fittings so know matter what block you have you will have the correct fittings. Our experience in 6.5 coolers is unsurpassed with well over 700 kits...
Water temp is not and indication of oil temp. When I had my 6.5 I had and oil temp sensor in the pan. When pulling hard it would jump to 275* right away.Empty would be close to water temp or a bit lower. Synthetic or not I would not run one without a cooler while towing. As for Peninsular the...
IMHO Racor is the best. They are the only ones that make a true water separator. Their media will rejct water. Racor is all you will see in marine use. I have not bought any complete Racor filters in awhile. But for the replacement R60 S, T or P we charge $26.25. As far as the 400 series goes...
We use a lot of Parker 1/2 fuel hose. I just looked up what the price of 3/8 is and its $2 a foot. It will out last the truck, rated for petroleum use at 250psi.

Stainless braided Teflon is around $3.50 a foot. Would have to check on fittings. I would recommend using a flare fitting on both ends. Its not recommended to use hose barbs and hose clamps. If using a Walbro all you would need is a 1/4npt X 3/8 jic 90 on the discharge unless you lay it on its...
The OE fittings are whats called Tube-O fitting. I can get the fitting however you have to buy so many to make it reasonable that I can't see selling that many.
