WOW - You got Snow! (Leo, Simon and I were feeling sorry for ourselves up here because winter lasted so long, but yours is still happening!)

Stuff like this narrative and pictorial record of our travels, our meetings with other members, sharing with our brothers... that's what this site is all about. Every member who contributes a story like this shows us a little bit more of our world, and populates it with good people who live along the way. Paul, the "Grumpy Bear" was just kidding about hurrying up, but as you might imagine, we were definitely all looking forward to seeing the pictures of your GTG with Les and Jake!

These stories, these pics, the Oil Can, and so many other things make The Truck Stop different from any other forum...

Sounds good. I'll look for a response and forward it accordingly. I'd prefer to take it up there but the work schedule is not supportive of such a plan. Still plenty of room for signatures though.

Yes, Chicago ish reception is Saturday the 16th of July. Son II's Basic Training Graduation is on the 22nd at Ft "Lost-in-the-Woods" MO so we'll be in the area from the 14th on.

So I thought I'd finish up this thread with some pics of the snow that chased us South after we left Simon's house. We usually drove out of it but everytime we stopped it would catch up.

truck and trailer weighed 14700. it never overheated but if it was air challenged like ours I bet it would be a diff story. No problem with customs

It was nice to meet Les and Forrest, Steph, and great to chat with you while he was on tour. Don't ever hesitate to jump on here to stay in touch with Les while he is doing a road trip... there are brothers everywhere, and we take care of our own!
