Resurecting New Engine

This will sound horribly politically uncorrect, uncaring, disgraceful and cold...but...

"the best way to get over a woman, is to get under a different one."

Gotta do what you gotta do. Bought a new ps box and pump. Still need the shock for the cross bar to the tie rods and a two new lines that go to the ps box along with the cooler since they are all crimp on..:icon_bs: Gonna degrese the frame tomorrow hopefully....... If not then sunday..

Checkin up on ya bud. How ya making out?

Ok got the new ps gearbox on. What a pita to get everything all lined back up! I made another mistake today in getting a pitman arm made in India. Piece of crap was so cheap it didnt press on correctly. So i had t go out and get another. Im having a hard time finding the ps pump cooler and lines, but i will keep searching. I also need a steering stabilizer shock. Mine is shot... I have a bunch of pics to post but i am pirating the neighbors internet so downloading pics is not going to happen tonight. I will do it tomorrow in school on my break. Thanks for askin Matt. Getting back into the swing of things, bummed still, but i can at least function at or near par.... Spending time with freinds and my new #1 GF, that used to be #2... if yah know what i mean...

I learned my lesson with the cheapo pitman arm too. I bought one from LMC truck along with a buncha other front end parts. When I put it on, the steering wheel was turned 1/4 from where it should have been. I just figured i had installed it one tooth in the wrong direction. But no matter haw many ways i tried it, the steering wheel would never be straight.

The part looked almost identical to factory, but i went ahead and bought one from GM anyways. Worked perfect. When i looked a bit closer on the lmc part, they had machined the spline about 1/16" off from the factory gm arm. Enough to throw off everything in the front end.

Needless to say, LMC was helpful and refunded me my money. Great company, just a crappy part supplier. One more part to add to the "buy from GM only" list..........

Keep on going DieselSlug.....looking good!

Pics. SOrry i havent taken any of it pressure washed i will tonight tho..

mmmm kind of misunderstanding. If french we say " lui " (him) or " il " (he) when we talk about our trucks. For us, trucks are "boys", but that doesn't mean your's don't have balls ):h.
I now understand clearly what means #1 and #2 above :D

It doesn't mean you guys are gay petifiles either :) ):h

We just like to form a tight relationship with our vehicles. We can love our trucks, they can look beautiful, they can at times be a real bitch. They cost alot of money, and require frequent maintenance. What other word describes it better than 'she' ?
