Did some cleaning up on the plow the other day. Next summer i will remove all the paint and patch the few holes. The plow is a 1994, so not bad for survivng this salt belt all these years!

Maybe I should send you my 95. I am scrapping it due to rocker rot and a wrecked bedside. Has a rusted through cross member at the spare tire carrier. It would honestly be a blessing compared to yours.
You have more ambition than me to keep a rusted rig running! Hope you can patch it back together!
Maybe I can cut you a deal on my 95' k1500. Same color and everything...just needs a good engine. I absolutely hate to sell it/part it out but if it was going to a good home I would think about it....
I really like the look of those rims on your truck....and spray that entire frame down with a diesel/used oil mix with a pump sprayer. Not much else seems to help here in the north east

I think i have seen pictures of your truck. Its a short box extended cab though correct? If it was a long box extended cab i prolly would be very interested in possibly working something out.
Where i sit now is my trucks tranny is about gone. If i could get a whole other truck for less than the cost of the tranny it may be the better way to go as my truck needs so much other work.
Correct. It is a ex cab short bed Z71. The only rot is on the very bottom of the door lips. Body looks nice but has a few dents here and there. Frame is good but could use some sanding and paint in the rear as it is starting to rust from sitting. It has been stored indoors for about 2 years now but it is gonna need some work other that just a motor...brake and fuel lines and prob brakes from sitting etc. Definetly will need some TLC but is a unique fun to drive truck.
Chassis has high miles 230K but the front end was just gone thru and is very tight. New monroe gas shocks all the way around, Heath GL4 chip, full leather power interior, boost and pyro guages, tow hitch etc.. Trans was fine but I was going to go thru it just to be safe. Also has a 7.5' fisher plow.
If you are interested, just remember this is not just gonna be drop in a motor and go, it is gonna need some work and a good cleaning! I just cant seem to find the time for another project, especially that I already have a good reliable truck already. If you are interested make me an offer, id like to see it go to a good home rather than me part it out.

What tranny are you putting back in? Did you find an NV4500? Keep us posted on the WH1C, I have mine in the shop still and am getting closer to having my 93 ready to handle some upgrades.
Also will the transmission slide out with the torque converter bolted to the flywheel?
Yeah but I wouldn't. You'd risk breaking the pump. $$ added: the cover if not removed can't get past the flexplate, can it?
IIRC the cover came off my '93 with an OEM x-over..
Rust.. What rust?
