Resurecting New Engine

I try to use SS bolts when ever i can. But with most of them being metric its kinda expensive. Yeah now that i think about it i should have painted those injectors. But im getting to the point where it is going to snow this week. Truck needs to get done ASAP.

Awesome! send it my way!!!!!!!!! I hope this year snows ALOT!!!!!!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$

I just dropped my plow off at my welder 2 hours ago though :).. I'm ready.

Way OT. Sorry DS.

BTW DS, I read in a plow forum that if your Timbrens aren't taking enough weight of the plow off you can shim them down more until they work. Some people really like them, so don't get discouraged about that one guys comment in the plow section here.

Thanks Matt. Btw i found my camera, im sure you could tell before i wrote that..:D

More... I am runningout of time and fast, so i just slapped the intake back on without cleaning it. I hated to spend so much time on everything else and slap a crappy intake on it, but money and time are a huge role. I have till the 19 of this month to get it done..... And the little red box is a linear amp, you can guess what thats for.... The rubber line with the brass cap on it is for a to be fuel pressure guage, did it the quickest easiest way for now...

DS, You should paint the engine cover cat yellow and paint the lettering black. That would really finish the whole package.

Yeah, that would be cool. All that work i put into painting the block and you really cant tell the damn thing is yellow....

Yeah, but it is. And everytime you go underneath to peek, clean, or diagnose (hopfully not) YOu can appreciate your fresh build!

You defanately gonna know your rig after this bonding session!

Wouldn't take long. That cover is probably abs plastic. If you scuff abs up a little bit, it will take about any kind of paint. Since you don't need that cover to keep it running, just do it in your own time. It would be like the cat yellow crown sitting on top of your build.

Unfortunately, and i hate doing body work....

Boy oh boy do i agree with you here. bodywork's a pain.

Yep, screw that... just to get pissed when someone scratches it, or an acorn falls on it.........

Guys, guys, guys....settle down.):h

Nothing like some home grown backyard bodywork. When it's done it's worth it when you get to show it off to all your buds. Mind you it will have flaws but at least you will have done it yourself.

I think you guys are all whacked......I love slinging mud.....and I cannot stand dings or scratches....so it is all worth it.....maybe that is why I wash and wax my truck once a week.....or maybe that is why I spent half of my summer swapping bodies....

Dont get me wrong, go look at all my other vehicles i have had in the garage, they are all spotless in the body section. I waxed my trucks almost everytime i washed them. I went through gallons of armorall, this truck def. has the worst body on any vehicle i have ever owned. Yeah the cab corners, what cab corners. They are just gone. Rotted almost up to the trim piece. Im going to spray some maroon paint on the open wounds to get me through this winter then next year i am going to take it to a body shop with my tax rebate. When you have holes bondo only will cover them up till winter, then it just rusts around the bondo and the blob you did before just falls out.

P.S. Got some more pics to upload, will do it sometime this afternoon or tonight!

NEW PICSSS!! Getting ready for the first start tomorrow afternoon!!! These are from the other day. Had to clear out the camera so i can do avid. tomorrow of the truck cranking up.
