Yeah I don't know what the guys act is. He never showed again at Tranny shop and I have not heard from him. At this point I don't think I want it anyway. Gotta move on.
 
I can get the tranny done for that price by someone I know is reputable but thanks. It's now Monday. I think it's time to give up. Guy's a clown.
 
well, he sowed at the tranny shop. Tey told him exactly what I did. He was all heart. Said he'd knock 500$ off. I told him 5k max. He's thinking about it but say some guy in WI wants it. I told him to let his consceince be the guide. I am willing to buy it knowing the tranny is bad.
 
Get a rebuilt tranny for like $800 right? Or just have someone you trust rebuild it. At least it drives now, not like its a real immediate issue. You know you love that truck :) About the only thing that could take the place of the Tahoe.
 
Best price I got was about 2k for a tranny with a few upgrades and a planetary. The Planetary gear ups the cost. It sounded to me like he was going to try and dump the truck on someone else. No consciense I guess.
