What is the blue book on it with a good tranny? For a clean truck $5K seems like a steal, even if it needs a tranny. If the blue book is $8-10K then maybe you offer some more, because that is what other buyers will base their decision on, even if they know tranny is bad.

I'll never understand a shortbed one ton.:nonod: I think I'm old fashioned or something.

x2 unless its a mud truck its useless as a work truck. that would be a nice truck with a long bed and some normal alcoas or stock wheels and not spider webs ):h just my .02 :)

Don't care, still want it...:D

I saw all the nice toys in your album and thought of you when I seen that.

BTW, that 77 ford sure looks fun! Buddy of mine is sitting on a 78 Bronco that isn't doing much of anything.... Maybe someday it'll move again, under its own power or someone else's.

My deepest regret with that Ford was I didn't convert it to diesel. I kept wasting money screwing around with junk M motors. The engine compt on that body style was huge. I wanted so bad to drop a worked up 3208T in that truck but didn't have the knowledge, time, or money.
a 6.9 would have bolted right in too. If I could find a clean 78-79 bronco, I would love to drop a 6.9 in it with maybe a BAnks turbo or soemthing. As a rule I like GM better but that bodystyle of Ford was hard to beat. It was one tough truck.

Very tough stance. That's what I respect the most about the older trucks. When trucks drove like trucks. I like it. Price is steep though!

It seems alot of tow trucks are popping up brand new dodges lately. Must be good or cheap... I got towed by a 6spd automatic w/exhaust brake had the 'towmaster' package or something... tons of power even with my rig on the hook, and was nice...

I'd hate to get use to a payment again though... that gets old fast too.

So does working on stuff. Since I started with the big trucks again it's just been too much working on all this stuff.

Sometimes the payment ends up being cheaper.... Plus no matter how hectic and loud the family can be, nothing beats spending good time with them either...
