Walbro-where to buy?

Also Pureflow said they do not cover the IP if thier pump caused it. I don't think I would buy another one of thier products. I realize they would go broke from claims from every guy who ever burned up a VP but my VP was replaced 2 weeks ago and the Raptor installed. It is directly responsible for any IP damage so I think that is a Sh^tty deal IMHO. They were supposed to overnight me a LP. Not here yet..... This company I though was good is turning out not to be. If anybody wants to try this setup , go with the Fass.

Still no new LP after I begged them and offered to pay for 2 day. My truck has been down since Sunday and now I will be eating a 1300$ IP . I'm sorry I even brought them up here.

well, Once again my Irish temper has gotten the best of me and made me into an A$$ once again. When I'm wrong, I'll admit it. The Raptor is a damn good pump and there was nothing wrong with it. Pureflow is a good company and they actually did do right. I should have gotten the pump yesterday but UPS f'up. it was shipped on time. UPS apologized. Now onto the problem Basically I am pissed at my own laziness as usual. The Dodge had the Ip replaced and they weregoing to replace the LP as well under warranty at the SCUMBAG DEALER I bought it from. I said hey I got this Raptor I was going to put on after the warranty ran out. I said they could save thier money for a stock one and put his one on. well the a$$holes wanted to 200$ to install it. At first I was thinking f' them but then I said to myself, self you let that sit for months before you get to it. There's a new IP let's git 'er done. So I paid it. Well, I'm kinda beat so I'll post the pics tommorow but I got the new Raptor today and it did the exact same thing the old one was doing. it would work at first and then slowly die after a few miles. I checked and did everything. Used a mech shop FP gauage. same readings. Jumped the relay bypassing the ecm. same thing. Blew out the suction line. same thing btw fuel was running out of it as siphon failry strong so didn't think there could be restriction. Tested for power .I even clamped the fuel line to see if it was losing pressure in the IP somehow after it got warm. Made a hose and ran the truck off of bucket of fuel. OK we got some good minds here...Anybody want to venture a guess what was wrong ? Again the symptom:
Full FP at startup. After driving short distance slowly loses pressure to alomst nothing. Once it get's to that point even with truck not running and LP relay bypasses can hear LP getting slower and slower. Sounded like bad motor. was beginning to think two bad LP's in a row. Well it wasn't. I'll give you guys a hint what was wrong. it was the direct result of a sh^tty installation by scumbag Lee's Auto Ranch in ellington CT.
So my fellow scholars...
What was the problem ?
BTW I want to again apologize for blaming and knocking Raptor/Pureflow. It was entirely not thier fault and they make a top notch product. Pretty much best out there(when installed properly).

Maybe these pics will help....

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, The old corroded battery terminal "trick"

Kinda hard for the pump to work when the trons can't get passed the corroded connection.

Figures it was something stupid and simple.........Anyway glad it's fixed.....You will go after the Dealer for Skechy install procedure!?

Nice.

The Walbro guys not only gave me the higher rated springs, but they sent me a free replacement bowl to replace the one I cracked when the fitting bottomed out.

Lube Specialists didnt return either of my messages about the unit I bought from them, but Leroy at PMDCable.com has awesome customer service, so if purchasing a FRB-5 PMDCable.com would be my choice.

Well like I said, I want to recant and say the Raptor is a damn nice Pump. Yes I have already told my mother to have bail money ready. Lee's Auto Ranch in Ellington CT did this. POS.

Maybe work out to your advantage that they charged you to do this install, which is hack, and caused your brand new IP that THEY INSTALLED 2 weeks ago to fail.

Bring out the Irish temper once again, this time at the dealership.

BTW, this is about as much as a thread hijacik as possible. LOL. At least you do own a 6.5 again !

I agree 100% with this statement about Leroy. Great guy to do business with.

No.........Just make them understand that $200.00 install should have included that all connections were clean and making good contact.

Definatley, not worth Bail issues...............................yet.
