Truck Makeover

Ya I know, but it's better than buying a brand new one like some people do.

It's somewhere between 3-4 liters of a Home Hardware paint, I think it is similar to Rustoleum. 3.9 liters is approximately a US gallon.

I should say the volume of paint includes the arms, fenders and the back beam.

You got alot of coverage for just one gallon. Was it one gallon sprayable or did you reduce it to make more? Are you going to buff it out before the next car show?

I use about 20% paint thinner, there's a fine line line between too thick or too thin that I have yet to figure out.

No car shows are in this vehicles future.:)

Thinking about it,it's more like 10% thinner. I really should measure it:???::hihi:

Sure would look cool in the cruise night though...:hihi:
The deck will look much better when I put the reflective tape on it.

Maybe a farm and ranch show then? Might even get some new orders for some!

There are a number of different makes out there, Most guys want them built better than the mass produced ones for less money, no thanks.
I just built one for me and three for a couple of my brothers.

I got another coat of paint on the fenders, arms and headache rack. I also put a second coat of under coating in the tool box that is built into the headache rack to prevent paint chipping, or so I hope.

Well I can almost see light at the end of the tunnel. The deck is on the truck and wired up, hydraulics are finished as well. I'm just waiting on a new belt.

Pics with the reflective tape on as well as the LED's, I should have left the door closed so the lights would show up better.

When you get the belt on can you show it in action.

I have seen the video but curious how it looks standing behind without a bale in the way. :agreed:

Thanks!

The cows will just see the hay:agreed:

The truck has gained a few pounds, it now weighs 8560#'s with me and 3/4 tank of fuel:eek:. I'm going to have to use a lighter gauge of metal for the future additions.;)
