Thanks! It has been hot here but I thought firewall was much better than on top of the intake like the instructyions said! The last PMD came from Oriellys! Its not Stanadyne but I have to look to see what it is! Ive even put a manual switch to the lift pump so I know its working!Firewall is a bad place for the remote PMD, hot location. Best place is to get it out of the engine compartment completely and mount the heatsink behind the front bumper. Also, what kind of PMD you are using makes a difference, too. Stock Stanadynes are junk. The new style gray Stanadyne PMD is a little better. The best one to use is the new aftermarket black Flight Services/Diapco with the raised "hump" down one side, as properly mounted to a correct heat sink they are nearly indestructible. LeroyDiesel sells both the gray Stanadyne and the black FS, as well as heat sinks and extension cables for the PMD.

Glad you got it.
As the previous owner learned, and now you- the load of the LP is too much for the ops. GM just messed up. You need build yourself or buy the ops relay harness.

While your there if you dont have your spare pmd, he sells them, I suggest getting one of his lifetime warranty. Run it, keeping your old as the spare. Then when the new one dies (they all die) you switch to your old one and send him the other to get swapped out. I tell everyone a spare pmd is like a spare tire. You need it worst when you dont have it.
Also take the time and do a ton of reading here in the 6.5 areas- it will save you a ton of $ of the next years you own it.
I put an AC /Delco sender and a Bosch and it did nothing.
That's why I'm working in another direction??
Any tests for PMD?
Leroy sells the BorgWarner OPS (Oil Pressure Switch).Leroy sells them on his site, Bosch.
