New Walbro lift pump 16.5 psi & 50 GPH

I dont even need to look close to see that now... I was at work and tired. Teach me to post while working!

I like the 90 degree fitting on top. I would recommend that to anyone, as it really helps fit it in there.

My truck is running really smooth now. After shocks, a tune, and the pump, she is a pleasure to drive. She just lumbers down the road. Now I am going to get the AC icy before summer!

Slim that looks good. Raycor mount? I've wanting to try a Raycor mount and Wix filter.

Yes Racor gas marine fuel filter head, and an after market WiX water separating filter. Cheapest way to get a Racor mount. Scored a heated bowl with a water probe for 56 dollars on FLEA BAY. so the next filter will be a standard P60.

It is fixed. You could ad a aftermarket regulator if needed, but I think out of the box they should be right. Still waiting on some IP pressures along with Matt.

Im pretty impressed with it so far, It will drop just below 10psi on hard acceleration, It really woke The old girl up

Awesome. Are you reading psi just before IP? after the FFM? Would still like to hear other owners post thier results to get a average.

OK. Those #'s are too high for me. I need adjustable. From what I understand not supposed to feed a DB2 more than 7-8 psi or if screws with the cold advance.

So two years almost to the day, the pump is dead.

I have been having no trouble with the truck, just put on new tires (went to 235/85 and love them). The truck hiccuped and died leaving out of the driveway tonight (you ever had one of those days the universe seemed aligned against you? yes, it was one of those). She restarted with only a little trouble. I popped the hood and tried the fuel waste valve, and sure enough, she died. ARGGH!

As I needed the truck for work tomorrow, I hit oreilly before they closed and bought an OPS as I did not suspect the Walbro. I am still running without a relay on the OPS. I got a BDM OPS and swapped it in after I got the kids in bed. The old OPS snapped apart when pulling the wire connector free. And I noticed I have a (little) leak on the passenger side hose on the FFM. Yay.

New OPS: nothing. Argh, I swapped in my old fuel pump (THANK YOU LEROY for the adaptors that let me keep the old connectors!!!!) It took me only a few mintues to put the old pump back in. Boom, click click click and she is pumping.

Soooo.... Was it my horizontal mount? Lack of relays? Anyone else had problems with their FRC yet?

Also noticed my oil lines are leaking way more now and the tuna can needs swapped out. My poor girl is just mad for being ignored I guess!

You are not alone nor the first. Likely the 2nd... :D Hopefully you are ordering another one. They are the toughest lift pump I have found. I do have a relay mod on mine though.

I don't think mounting had anything to do with your failure. Low voltage from a bad OPS can damage things. Electronics can burn out with low voltage.

Before you toss the pump I would like the innards out of it as the electronics on mine still work. Just scored up the soft armature in really bad fuel and they don't sell parts for em.

I am good with that WW. pM me your info and we can work it out. I will look at that relay setup. I need to get that set up. My girl needs some love in general.
