Need new cyl head fast

well, Put the computer back in. Put the TM on (Pia on a gm8 compared to gm4) Took it for a ride and it runs sweet. Bill Heath is the tuning master. Truck pulls really well. Smoke is minimal now. Running about 10-12 lbs boost. Did notice egts climb very fast. Pulling a hill(no trailer) hit 1150 no effort under WOT. Not sure if less or more boost would help that. What I can't beleive is there are no leaks, HGs are fine . Nothing ever goes smoothly for me. It really pulls well. I was looking at a 5th wheel camper but's 11,700gvw. I am worried the truck will overheat towing something that heavy.

Well Matt stopped by today with Carcode and as I suspected the timing was a little advanced...-2.46...
We bumped it back to -1.50 and she sounds nicer. Truck is running great. I can't believe the truck didn't code.

Hey Kenny, I am glad you got it all worked out... I would have been able to come give you a hand, if I had known...
What is best time to call you? I have a question or two..

I thought you were getting ready to head south. Sorry. It wasn't much of a party. Matt just came down to get some tires and we threw the scanner on quick. I was chopping wood most of the day. Way behind this season. BTW FWIW Carcode worked fine and I'm set at -1.50

Ya'll had a 6.5 party and did not invite me ??? :nono: I could have shown off the new tune

Sorry Doc!

Yeah, it was a last minute spur of the moment thing to grab some old rubbers of Kenny's.... I'll squeeze every penny outta them treads! Went for a ride in Kenny's beast, very nice ride. Running very tight.

Just in case your ears were ringing a little, we did talk about you briefly though, saying your a heck of a guy, and it was nice having you nice and closeby!

The best part was I looked over in the garage, and Kenny's 4 year old Son had his Power-Wheels Jeep up on a jack and he was laying underneath it on top of a piece of cardboard just like his old man! Stuff like that makes life all worth it...... :):thumbsup: Then when we went for a test drive the little man pointed and yelled out "DUally!" as we passed another dually :)!! Kenny must have been proud!

When I had my yellow Jeep I painted my kids power wheels Jeep yellow to match. While I was putting the lift kit in my Wrangler I looked over and they had the powerwheels Jeep jacked up with my floor jack and were laying under it with some wrenches scattered about. Priceless!

The other day I came home and they had built a dually (my boy loves duallies, I think it was his first word) out of some scraps of wood. Doesn't look much like a dually, except that they put a set of my old taillights on each side at the back, a license plate between the taillights, a pair of axles from a toy were stuck under each side in the rear, so it had dual rear wheels. old bike training wheels in the front. My favorite part was they found a couple old red marker lights and put them on the sides of the "bed" to represent the fender clearance lights.
