I just want to make sure you have at least that program set right. You should have a little icon in the lower right corner of your screen by your clock that looks white, with a blue bar over the top, and a padlock. You'll need to right click on that once a week to update the definitions, and then run the program to keep things clean.
Assuming you are done with this one, now you need to run CCleaner - have it check the registry and then fix those problems. I think you have that program already - let us know if you don't.
Yes sir I have that one, I had to click allow alot though I couldnt find the fix all button haha... Ill run that cc thing I do have that, and I also have the white thing down there by the clock... thank you very much!
sorry for not replying right away, it wanted me to reboot....
You're more than welcome my friend, and hopefully someone else here will gain some help from it too.
Before you run the CCleaner program, also update it first. These definitions are what keep pace with what the bad guys are doing, so it is needed to keep things as current as possible.
One step at a time...get that one done and then just one more left...SuperAntiSpyware. Then you should be good to go again.
Ozzie, Jim, anybody... I am now getting antivirus 360 pop ups and have a little icon in the bottom right I never had until today... it is called "window security alerts" I never installed that... right???
Link to pop up--- I get them in internet and firefox... now in new windows... they are all differant.... NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT COMPUTER I DONT THINK I WOULD CLICK ON THIS!!
