Been through this post twice looking for the torque specs on those four bolts that hold the hub on, seen it asked twice but don't see the answer so forgive me if it has been mentioned, but what are they supposed to be torqued at please? Thanks.
If I'm reading my FSM right it says 133 ft lbs which seems like alot
Excellent, thanks for the info on torgue.
Just tighten them evenly. Then one grunt more.
Just be careful not to go to far on that extra grunt. I did this on mine and tore my abdomen 2 months ago. Did not make for a fun week as I had an engine job waiting next in line. Doing an engine in a cavalier with a torn abdomen isn't fun at all.
That sucks, did your guts come out?
Be carefull, I understand you could be suseptable (sp?) to tearing again.
Not having insurance sucks sometimes.
So instead of a bigger hammer, Snap-On make this cool little air hammer thing. Knocks out 8 lugs in about 16 seconds.
