In your area unless you get something that has a fuel heater in it your best bet is to stick with the oe filter setupYes I use the regular one with the black plastic top on it... Eventually I'd like to upgrade to a different filter system that's in a different location..but that's down the road

I assume you meant glow plugs? This sounds like you have lost ground to battery, the first restart will not give you full glow cycle.Swear to God this whole truck needs to be rewired... Now for some dumb reason ( and it's ironic that war wagon put those float plugs in there) when I turn the key on to warm the plugs the wait to start light only comes on once and I only hear the click sound one time and it goes right back off and stays off doesn't matter how long the truck has been shut down for...
I ran mine like that with a #2 cableThat's possible... All the battery cables are fairly new and I have the gold post cable ends... I've been kind of wondering something since that ground on the back of the manifold passenger side is so important why isn't there a ground wire from the battery straight to it
