Hey guys it's all good. She was 82 and has had lymphoma on and off for 10 or so years. My aunt and uncle lived in Casper, Wy they moved up there for work (now they live in grand junction, Colorado) and they took her to an excellent doctor who is now retired in Gillette, Wy, and that's the only reason she made it through all that she did. God works in strange ways right? It got real bad towards then end, so I'm just kinda glad she isn't suffering anymore.
I know this is way off subject but I thought I would share. Thanks for your respects.

Sorry to hear that. My Best friends dad died last week.
On the fuel pump, Seems like you should have had it by now.

This is off subject but I had a blowout tonight going about 85. Back drivers side. Almost lost it, got freakin sideways bout 45°. The reason I posted this is cause the 10 ply tires shredded like an 18 wheeler and seriously messed up my back fender. Anybody know how I can fix this myself? Just spent all my money on an att :)

Looks like you need to cut out damage and weld in 60 dollar crash panel and repaint. Paint and materials probably 100 bucks. Don't know of cheaper way and looks beyond hammer/dolly bondo method.

Smash the other side to match, that's how my 95 looks lol. Also backed into my tractor for good measure.

Patch panel, new bed side, or new bed would be your best bet

What is the DOT date number on the tire? Do you know the tire age and where purchased? Brand info? Tread depth before separation? Snow tires?

I suggest you go after the tire company for repairs. Common in our heat and tire companies do cover this damage.

Could you tell me where I could maybe get a panel? It is screwed way beyond straightening with a hammer. Where it bent and made contact with the metal on the inside it actually tore. All that rubber and metal gave my leaf springs and all a good polishing hehe

I'm not sure of the purchase date a bought them from a buddy and they had ok tread. They are 10 ply mud tires and believe me they are tough. I've been running them for about 8 months are so. But where would I find the dot number on the tire and how would I go about filing a claim with the tire company? This was unexpected, the tire was fine I just went too fast and it's so heavy it tore itself apart. How much information would I have to prove to get the tire company to cover it? Is it even worth the trouble?

I looked on lmc site and put bed in search box. I was on the site getting ext cab corner when I saw this thread. Cutting out the cancer today.

Nice man thanks. Lmc has good stuff. I need to get rid of some cancer myself, tailgate corner rotten, the very bottom of my doors are starting to chip and rust too.

Oh the tires are Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's 325/60r18 aka 33x13.50r18. DOT 3D0U MBD. Max load single 3525lbs @ 65psi. Tread 1 ply nylon + 2 ply steel + 3 ply polyester. Sidewall 3 ply polyester.

Like I said, they are tough tires. They are still holding air so I guess I didn't have a "blowout" per se but the tire shed all of its treads for sure. I'm really not sure why it did that. Really bums me out tho.

You may not have been going too fast for the tire. It depends on the tire's speed rating and it is a continuous buildup of heat that is the issue for speed ratings. Unloaded pickup bed is really easy on a tire vs. full load. Don't give them an out unless you really were over the tire's speed rating. If so GET DIFFERENT TIRES!!! But make sure you under the speed rating of the tire from the sites below.

I would suspect the other tires for issues like this happening soon as well.
