93 6.5 help plz

Ok quick question on a 96 6.5 suburban what would drain the batteries over night if every thing is turned off and pos cable arks when being plugged in

If you get an arc, and it can drain the batteries, something is on, or shorted out. Go through the fuse panel 1 at a time, pull fuse and check for arc. When the pulled fuse eliminates the arc or draw, chase that circuit and you will find the problem. Only things that come to mind from past problems were bad ignition switches, bad door pins, bad starter solenoid, shorted tail light board.

Both Heath and Leroy have good PMD relocation kit.

The key is the PMD, they don't make PMD, they just a reseller.

Leroy is a regular in this forum and he posts regularly, too.

Cheap OPS is not generally very good. I went the Standard brand of OPS and had it go bad in about 6 weeks, even with having also done the OPS bypass mod. The bypass mod uses a solenoid to handle full power 12V, and using the OPS just as a trigger circuit for the solenoid to power the lift pump. I replaced the OPS with an AC Delco brand and it's still going good.
