I emailed the seller and they claim they are a direct fit, without any drilling, wire cutting etc. Also, emailed a previous buyer and they stated the same thing....fits like a factory mirror and loves them. I may have to try a pair in the next few weeks and report back!
About 156,000 miles on her! Must have had an easy life because interior is like brand new, and inside of box has only very minor scratches (no dents, no gooseneck hitch, and no fifth wheel hitch) :)
The Cipa 7000 mirrors are a little different from what I posted. I had the Cipa mirrors on a different truck, but didn't care for the looks (reminded me of mickey mouse ears). They had much improved visibility over stock , but just didn't suit the look I wanted. The ones I'm referring to above...
Just noticed that a popular auction site now offers new body style towing mirrors that are a direct bolt on for our body style. Is any body using them, and if so can you provide feedback? I posted a picture of the mirror I'm talking about below.
