Flying out tomorrow to pick up my new to me 6.5.

Wish me luck...gonna take my spare PMD/heat sink, it's up in Minn & already has the TM so my brothers cabins screen door springs should be safe this trip LOL!

Heath waste gate controller. HID head lights. Second owner. 8 bolt rims. PMD relocated on a heat sink. New injection pump.

That looks real nice Greg! Have a safe trip.
Since you're flying 1 way, I hope you enjoy the strip search at the airport...

:hihi:

Hmmmm. I wonder who clued you in on that?:rolleyes5::D It definitly needs aluminum wheels.

Where are you flying in to in Minn? IIRC I went to St. Paul to get my truck. Good luck! Hope you wont have to leave in a snow storm like I did!

When Greg gets done with those wheels it will look like a new truck, needs more metal and rubber to fill up those wheel wells and bring the RPMs down too. Just make sure the wheels arent so wide or have negative offset! Another modified VSSB is in your future.

Its a bit odd your truck and Burb have such similar color schemes.

Thanks Jim!

Flying into St Paul...& then north for a couple of nights in Hackensack just a little south of Walker on rt 371

The dealer I found my truck at brought my truck to me! They were waiting for me to get off the plane. Saved quite a bit of money then having to get a rental and drive to them. I enjoyed my trip back to Oklahoma, put nearly 1000 miles on it before getting home. Went through a blizzard, icey roads and rain on the way back! Weird thing was it was ~34 in minnesota when I left and it was the same in Oklahoma when I got back, I got chased by the blizzard. Great test of the trucks ability!

I see you have chosen the 1995.

I hope your heater controls work. You will need the best luck for that and that alone. :rof:

Bought my truck while living in NC. Flew with my 15 yr old son to Spokane WA and took 2.5 weeks to bring it back. 3900 mile road trip instead of 2500 dash for home! That was a blast.

Enjoy the ride.

That's funny Paul. I flew to Spokane, WA to purchase my Burb. Via ebay, I think there is a fellow who specializes in 6.5's up there. I flew in with a backpack and a zero sleeping bag and drove it through the middle of the night in a snowstorm in Idaho, camped in my sleeping bag in the back, woke up, glad she started, and coffee'd up till Boise.
