I asked Autozone & Advance about Bosch and although they both carry Bosch they don't handle their glow plugs, strange. Rock auto has them for like $7.47 ea. I think the total with shipping was $62.11 for eight of them, I'll have to check out Amazon. While I was waiting for the paint to dry...

Water logged transplant to the Buckeye ?

I went out briefly just a little bit ago to do a quick check on the plugs. I checked from the glow body to the glow blade, I didn't get any kind of a reading. Kind of hard to watch the meter when your watching what your hands are doing, but if the meter did move it was maxed out at the other end...

Well I guess I learned something when trying to start a motor that has glow plugs don't use the boost. If the relay blows will the glow light still come on and aren't you suppose to get a code if that happens? I did find out that the pass side battery is bad, I don't think that just happened...

Water logged transplant to the Buckeye ?

I think I'll plug her in for a little bit tomorrow and see if that helps. Glow light seems to work ok but I guess that doesn't mean their working. I wouldn't think by cleaning the motor off would have screwd anything up I hope its waterproofed better than that. Mark

    Ideal 6.5

Thanks for the walk through on the 6.2/6.5 WW looks like GM had all their top design engineers at the drafting table when they put this puppy together. They did such a great job on it they left the Japanese build the next diesel. Mark

So the military couldn't even get the General to build these motors any stronger even for them, as many vehicles and spare's that they bought off GM. Mark
