Seeing that you've had good luck w/ the 10 micron pre-lift pump, I ordered a 90T filter element along with the Walbro FRB-5. As long as it doesn't load up too quickly, I like the idea of the finer 10 micron primary filter. Your results with the 60 gph 10 micron before the Walbro show that the Walbro maintains more than adequate pressure & flow.
Figure I'll keep 1 each, spare OEM fuel filter & Racor elements in the truck. Just got my Kennedy chip & the Walbro should be here soon.
TD - Did you plumb both thw Walbro & OEM style lift pumps in parallel for the capability of both pumps, or so one is there as a backup? Maybe for both benefits?
I haven't looked closely at the Walbro pics yet. Hearing the comments about it being loud enough to hear when driving, I might mount it on some type of rubber grommets or isolators. Everytime I part a vehicle or piece of farm machinery, I collect the isolators - like the rubber mounts on our truck's ABS- for just such an occasion.
