Well, the thing is this. Something's gotta go. # Pickups not good. Only thing ,missing is a collapsing porch with a half dozen hound dogs...:D .
I paid 1600$ for the 94 and could easily get 8-900 probably more back in parts and then keep what I need for the CUCV. But as the Lemon continues to piss me off I may actually put it on eBay. If I can get within 2k of what I paid for it, it's gone. Then I'll concentrate on the 94 and the CUCV. Been looking at some Burb's. I do know where there is a 94 Tahoe 2 door 6.5 that the owner hates it. I could "rescue" it.

Then again if I need wheels, there is always "George"...
And Ya'all think your rednecks....:D

Next time truck dies, crack the filter bleeder and see if it hisses.. ...

I blew 120lbs into my tank and my sock didn't budge, nor did my sender. However, I would not recommend this, but a good FWIW.

Sadly it's probably the most reliable thing I own right now but at about 3 MPG not very cost effective. I need to dump the Lemon before my next camping trip mid october and buy another 6.5 or a Dmax. Nothing against Dodge but after this I wouldn't buy another one but then again I know them intimatley now. Talk about a crash course...
ONe thing about the Lemon that is good. It's easy to work on.

So Kenny, most of us don't know what's going on here. Why do you keep referring to your Dodge as a lemon? What has been happening?

-Rob :)

I know. It's what I should have done in the first place. Honestly opening the hoods on both trucks the Dmax looked alot more intimidating to work on. That and the factory tire clearence were the reasons I went Dodge. I jumped the gun like I do with most things and should have looked harder. The beating I'll take on the Dodge may limit what I can buy though. Even having to work on the Dodge isn't that big a deal. It's a very easy truck to work on but for what I paid for it I shouldn't have to.

OK even though I should just cut this truck up for the CUCV it's bothering me that it's still not running right. I hate to say everything so far is pointing to IP death. But since I;'m a dog that can't let go of that bone I put a mech FP gauge right before the IP. Started her up. Seemed ok. About 5 psi idling. When a few hundered feet up the road all of a sudden Losing power and then dies. FP while driving was about 2-3 psi(not WOT). Now she's dead. I'm cranking away, as Oil Pressure comes up cranking Lift pump is putting out 5 psi while cranking Got it running but had to keep it floored wile it barely ran shaking violently. Manage to get it home then it died. Now no start. 5 psi while cranking. Popped open # 1 inj and tiny bit of wet but would not call it real fuel coming out. Shall I condem the IP yet ? The only other thing, although probably a waste, was maybe I could site glass it. See it it's sucking air. I doubt it but I'll pickup some hose tommorow. don't keep the small stuff in stock. OH BTW I did unplugg the OS. No difference. Would not start. I was going to go out tonight and try it now that it's nice and cool and see if it starts.

You know I guess what's bothering me is that it really kinda feels like it's sucking air even though codes and symptoms point to IP. More I think about it before I condem the IP for good I'm gonna siteglass it.

Kenny, have you gotten the exact same codes on several occasions? I would say you cant always trust codes to be exactly component condemning when you get a few like that.

NO. Got the 56 originally. Changed PMD and that went away and now got 35, 18 and whatever else I wrote(42??). I cleared them 4 x and they immediatly came back and as they did I could feel the truck shudder.
