Depends on the 6.5
FAss and Airdog same thing. Father and son split up. Both held the patent.
So the fuel that comes out of one of those has less aeration? meaning, on a moleclar level?? = more BTU/mm3 of fuel?

get an airdog. solve LP and filter issues in one shot.
Nope it's a germane discussion Ken, but I'll go a little further on my overkill opinion, we aren't pushing high psi on the fuel system here so I think, empahsis on think molecular level air removal not a big gainer for the 6.5, the Walbro moves almost move 2x gph of the OEM lift, which for most people is sufficient, Replacement Racor element much more eaily found/supported and on sale often so you can keep cost low.
I would categorize that FASS or AD are the "high end" solution to more flow and viable for the 6.5, but Walbro/Racor still a good choice on low end with vast improvement over the factory set up.
I'm not sure about Diesl Pro's concerns on too high of a IP supply from the lift,
Don't know the reason, just remember him bringing that up......too bad he didn't follow to DTR, his input was allways a plus.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Iv'e invited him several times to join us, even sent a personal note to him at home still no DP.
'm not sure about Diesl Pro's concerns on too high of a IP supply from the lift, I'll call him at his shop to clarify that point, but IIRC both FASS & AD have adjustable output pressure regulators, so I would not discount those for that reason.
Ken I wasn't intimating that you were pushing it, just offering some observations from afar, and yes Bill was running AD at Bonneville, because for dang sure a Walbro will not support fuel needs for 150+ mph speed..
How do you know it wont keep up with that demand? 45GPH is a lot of fuel for sure. I've seen the walbro pump straight out of the ass and it sure pumps alot of fuel volume.
Should be able to figure it out, say 100mm3 per stroke, at 5000 rpms. How much fuel is that?
Because it just maintains 117 mph when pulling through a Racor filter,
at 1st WOT you get a momentary drop to .5 psi then as you settle into 117mph it recovers to 1-1.5 psi.
The Raptor is adjustable and has a lifetime warranty. Plus it comes with frame rail mounting kit.
If I still owned my Tahoe I think I would have gone that route. Would be overkill for stock. I have a Raptor on my Dodge. Damn nice pump. It's only running about 15 psi.
