Walbro FRB-5 Group buy

Most people choose to deal with vendors that are friendly, participate, and help out. Even if that means paying a few dollars more.

Thanks Matt, that means alot to me. Some of my parts have the best price too :smile5:

And he doesn't even respond to jabs from his competition. You know who I'll be buying my parts from.

Yea, Free Tow and sometimes buying lunch and on occasion even given gas money....

I'll just charge the next guy (with the Benz) double....:D:rolleyes5:

If Im ever broke down in Brooklyn.............

Any hint as to when the pumps will be coming? I don't mean to be a pain but I am down to zero fuel pressure and don't want to buy another lift pump in the meantime.

Good news!! They are here! I was just coming to post info. I am very busy at the moment, but will PM everyone later or if you see this post PM me your Paypal email address so I can send invoices out. Remind me if you want the LP bypass fittings also.

Yep don't buy another. I ran with 1 to 0 FP for a week or so while waiting for Walbro to fix mine.

Ignorance is bliss. I was happy as can be driving around with 0 fuel pressure, until my fuel pressure gauge read zero, then it hurt every time I'd give it fuel.... I'd end up going super slow trying to keep it at 1/2 psi.

These pumps wont fail in a week or 2 of low / no fuel pressure.

Sure it adds extra stress, but its not like the Cummins pumps which will fubar very quickly. Don't sweat it Dan. You'll be fine.

PM's are sent. Any questions let me know. Will mail asap after payment is recieved.

You'll have bigger things to worry about...):h:eek::D

Thats why Im calling you. I will need someone that speaks the language):h

In about an hour I will be mailing all the pumps and fittings except one who will be paying next Monday.
Please if you are getting the Bypass fittings post back how you like them.

Also just an FYI: I have the same style fitting (smaller), but for the return side. I use a pair on my Veg oil conversion. Right above the stock LP is a union. I removed it and installed the fittings there, makes for a real clean job and I can easiely put back to stock if needed.
Coming off the FSU is another place you could put these fittings (one of each size) if your lines are rusted out they could be just the answer to repair/replace them.

Leroy, did you ever hear back on prices for another order? Im in no rush for one at the moment but just curious.

Yep, I was working my through the emails and PMing you was on the list. I ordered 5 more at the same price $95 + ship. You wanted two correct?
Another member PMed me wanting one so that will be 3 of the 5 sold. Still have two left if anyone needs one or two. Also have the bypass fittings
Look here for more info on them http://www.pmdcable.com/LIFT_PUMP_BYPASS_KIT.html

These pumps are real popular in the veg oil crowd. I use one on mine it pumps 185-195 degree oil though it just fine for the last 60K miles.

Forgot to say I got all the pumps mailed out. They should be there 2-3 days in USA and to Canada ??? not sure.

OK, just PM me your email address so I can send an invoice. I will wait until I actually have the parts before sending an invoice. Should be here later today I hope.

Thaks for the update. Im pretty sure the supply is exhausted, but will confirm if anyone else needs a new pump.
I am still holding one pump for a member that was supposed to pay for it last Monday. I will offer it up If I don't hear anything from him by this Monday.

PS. Thank you very much for adding me to your signature line also.

Leroy, I just received my package yesterday. Now to find time to install the pump. The cooler will go on the 98 when it gets rebuilt.
