Walbro FRB-5 Group buy

Actually they are probably building it with the Dodge Cummins in mind. Alot of cummins guys in the beginning were trying to run the FRB-5. I don't think they could keep up with the Cummins demand . Was it ever determined if the Walbro was flow on fail ? AFAIK I don't think it is which was another issue. I personally would not run a LP that was not flow on fail.

I love mine. It's ridicoulous for a 6.2 but it sounds really cool. Also something I never realized..a DB2 CAN run flow on fail. Mine made it home. It wasn't happy and had very little power but it made it home when the Raptor quit due to me forgetting to tie a wire up. Pulled a Lee's Auto Ranch there...

Also, just got the word that the FRB 28 is NOT being built at this time and is atleast two months from even starting to be built at the soonest. If it ever does come out they say it will be 50gph at 15 psi.

Your right. I got bad information from Walbro. Sorry fellas, wasn't trying to misinform anyone, just help fellow 6.5ers. I figured I could trust info Walbro themselves.

Good Morning Don
I will start off with an apology, the FRB-28 is not yet available. My
thinking was it that it was formally released but at this moment it
still not. Our OE customers have not approved it.
Please stay in contact with me and as soon as it is released I will let
you know

Just wanted to say thanks to you for your business and to NVW (Leo) for starting the thread.

I really appreciate the offer but it's not necessary. You always contribute to this forum and we all appreciate it. I'm happy with your service.

I hear ya, but consider yours at cost. You helped me and now I return the favor.
With 8 sold I will make $80, not alot I know but money I would not have had. It is kind of a "loss leader" almost. I hope when someone buys one they are happy and buy more on the same order or come back for something later.

Anyway thanks again.

Luis (Brooklyn Tow) did I hear you say, free tows for all 6.5ers?

Well thanks Leroy, you'll have to make your profit on the other thing I want from you. I haven't decided yet but it will be one of two things:confused::smile5:

Tell 'em how it works in Brooklyn Louis...:D
Sure the tow is free but the hook-up is cash....:D

I thought the hook and tow were free, cash to UNhook. (I drove an old ford towtruck in high school part time, maybe the "rules" changed after a few decades.)

Leroy, you're too nice to us. You need more profitt. you could do like some sites and charge cheaper on the parts, kill 'em on "shipping and handling".

or not.

Thanx for all of your help and advice. Hope to get a check for disability soon. oil cooler kit, OPS ext and switch, turbo boost bolt all on my to do list. Son will have to install...

Most people choose to deal with vendors that are friendly, participate, and help out. Even if that means paying a few dollars more.

Yea, Free Tow and sometimes buying lunch and on occasion even given gas money....

I'll just charge the next guy (with the Benz) double....:D:rolleyes5:
