Upgrades to get better mileage and performance

is there a way i can tell what gears are in the rear end i know im gonna be changing the gasket and gear lube soon once it warms up

I think you can count the teeth, lift the rear wheels off the ground, market a tooth and have someone spin the rear wheel while you count. Also, If we could know your tire size and engine rpm at 60 or 65mph we can compare it to our set ups and make a good guess.

You spin the wheel one full revolution and count how many times the driveshaft spins, so you could get pretty close by marking a line on the driveshaft and watch it go by 3 times where it started. If it goes by a fouth then you have 4.10 gears, or its possible even 4.56 I suppose if the line ends opposite side where it started. 3.42 would be 3 times around then less than half, and 3.73 would be 3 times and more than half.
