The optimiser I didn't know I had

Pic #5 you have one alpine bolt and one silver bolt, holding the intake down.....What'd ya get mixed up?

I suppose I could give you a sneek peek at the truck it's going in. There is another truck in line for a engine before this one so it may be june before this goes in.

A little more progress. Motor mounts on,cdr on , fuelfilter/manager on, boost,intake air and coolant temp sensors installed, passenger side exhaust manifold installed w/stainless bolts, mis colored:eek: bolt on intake corrected:thumbsup:and new bosch duraterm glow plugs installed. Many more bolts cleaned and painted. Not as far along as I'd like it to be:mad2::mad2:

what's with the exhaust manifold looks like it has chicken pox? Rust pits? Lighting?
It had the measules when it was a child):h Then chicken pox. :rolleyes5:
They are rust pits. I blasted the manifold before paint. Gotta love all the salt the dot puts on our roads. Why do you think the 35W bridge collapsed?:eek:

Mine are the exact same way........... I think fanwash blows that stuff to the pass side for more effect.
 
Whats worse is there is no overspray on the cardboard, so he took all the time to put the already painted bolts into the cardboard for what reason?!?!?!

They are extras for the next engine build. You can;t paint them decent that close together. I also painted 6 sets of valve covers and 3 oil pans. 3 sets of accessory brackets,balancers,and boxes of other parts. Next builds should go much faster.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
