USPS sucks. I never use them if I can ship another way. Fed Ex has been the best for me. UPS get's it there...maybe in pieces..

Actually for me they have been pretty dependable and they are the only way, and cheapest way to ship to our Canadian brethren. Now I use UPS as well and have not had any problems with them up to this point.

I bought a chainsaw off ebay $35 dollars usps $150 ups so there's no ? as to which shipper to use here. The down side the gave my package to someone else good thing I live in a small town they called me and I went and picked it up. Could have been a big todo if someone dishonest just kept it. Sender would say he sent it I would say never got it and around we go.

Oh wow, sorry about that. I thought it was just slow shipping, I should have let you know via pm it hadn't arrived.
I like USPS because they are cheaper, which is about all I care about. Don't like UPS for a few reasons, but I do like Fedex, if only because I used to work for a vendor for them, and everyone I met seemed like good people. One would expect UPS and Fedex to be pretty similar companies because of the nature of the service they provide, but they are absolutely as different as night and day.
Wonder if my mailman gave it to somebody else? Seems like I still would have got it. I get other peoples mail quite often, I guess it's a matter of attention to detail. But a package ought to be harder to screw up. I'm reminded of that old Cheers episode where Cliff the mailman put all the mail in the slots, then everyone came out of their apartments and passed the mail back and forth because it was all wrong.
Hey Veg, don't worry I'm not really P.O.d, I can wait a little longer, I mean my truck is still up and running, it's not like it's a breakdown issue. If you do send another one and two arrive I'll ship one right back to you.
Speaking of which, what do I do with my cores? Send to you or Kojo?

I think it is a conspiracy by the USPS to mess with Dan's head. I bet the mail person is holding the part in his or her truck. Dan thats what happens when you wait for the postal carrier everyday. Been there done that ):h I think they call it stalking  ROFLMAO

I used to think I was just paranoid, until I realized everyone really is out to get me!

337k miles! holy dam. Makes me feel good about my ol truck maybe having some life left in it

Me too!

If its not cracked now, and you keep temps in check, ... how long will it last???

It think ATT will help longevity too.. All the added benefits are great for engine health.

I also think, but can't really prove it yet, that the A Team will help with longevity. Taking intake and exhaust temps down always, and decreasing the backpressure on the entire system just has to help. At least that's what my tiny bit of common sense is telling me!

FTB (and Rattlestop) arrived today! Can't wait to get started. Patrick, is it okay to cut that hose to install fuel pressure gauge between ffm and ip? That's where I'd like to put it I think, unless you have a better suggestion.

Absolutely. Just be sure any additional fittings have the largest possible diameter, so you don't create a restriction.

dam good point, I wouldn't have thought of that. I'll check it out, it came with a tee fitting, hopefully it's pretty big and straight thru.

The -1.94 TDCO is possible with any PCM, and is done independently of the tuning. The TDCO must be reset anytime you change out a PCM though, because the value is saved in non-volatile memory on the PCM circuit board. The OBD1 guys dont have to redo it when changing just their EPROMs though.

So if you didn't do the learn, what value would be used? What value would display on the scanner?

If the PCM memory was not wiped intentionally or unintentionally with strange electronic surges, then whoever set it last it would still be there. It is saved even with no power. So if the PCM vendor put it in a vehicle to test then it would still display whatever they had in their truck, or if it was put on a core return that was not relearned it would still show the previous owners TDCO.

Assuming your IP is actually in a place within tolerances, OBDII guys just need to do the KOKO after swapping PCMs, and not worry about what TDCO it learns. That is assuming it was set correctly or to your desired value last IP swap.

OBD1 guys get away with only swapping chips, no relearn required, but you cant just buy a PCM and put it in, because TDCO value in it wont be correct.
