Road Trip !!

What's really funny, is now that I know what Simon's voice soumds like with his accent and all, that's what I hear in my head when I read his posts.

Sorry to hear about the stranded in the middle of nowhere thing... Ak's brother should get an ear full :)

We couldn't get it going.I'm afraid the IP packed it in(metering valve code).
We called a tow truck and had the truck transported to a repair shop in the nearest town " Falher".
I hooked on to his car hauler and pulled that there too.
I left at 5.30,by then the mechanics had still not figured out why it wouldn't run and i had to go home to feed.
Being it good fryday and the weekend coming up parts will be hard to find till monday.
If they can't get it to run today I'll pick them up tomorow so they can spend a day here

So is that the wrecker driver then? You know how you picture pepole before you see them? I always pictured AK as a tall thin handsome man, so that guy in the picture can't be AK.

Seriously, if you're going to break down, being near Simon is about as good as it gets... handy kind of guy, looks after his brothers, a wealth of experience, some seriously nice real-estate to look at, and a friendly guy to share some stories with.

I thought that abominable snowman was better looking than me. We are staying with Simon here now. Nice place he's got here. As much as I liked reading his posts he's alot more interesting to talk to in person. We stayed up till midnight shooting the breeze.
 
Sp as far as the truck goes looks like were going to order a pump on Monday. Supposedly no dealers in Canada have one but even if they did it was $4300, not happening. A Cummins dealer had one in Edmonton $2200 yikes. So wereordering one for about $995 plus shipping etc.
 
You thought we were kidding when we talked about getting screwed over with parts prices??

Glad you're there, Les... you and Simon will have some fun, and I'm sure he can use a hand with the chores!
