Replacement turbo

Yes, most definately!!! You could call the venture "The A-Team Turbo Co." You could make deliveries in a black 90's Chevy van ... or not.

I LIKE THAT, can I use it?

OK so lets get this right: there is FACE, then there is Mr T, and I forget the rest of their names. Somebody help me out?

There will be a little profit in the turbos but not much. All things in good time, I have a day job and it is more about getting things right than selling a piece of crap item that doesn't live up to its expectations.

BY the way, ever try to use your savings account money for a speculative venture and explain it to the other half. GEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Hannibal and Murdock.

You can get an old 80's Chevy 6.2 powered van, paint it like the A-Team van, and make deliveries. Find some way to put one of the turbos on the van. :coolgleamA:

Not just Murdoch, "Howlin' Mad Murdoch"

Guess which one TurbineDoc is? :)

They're 'on the Jazz' again...

Wow, I have been out of the loop for a while I guess, looks like everyone is making great progress on transforming 6.5's into more then just a poor man's diesel.

Just to save me reading time, any dyno figures with this new turbo?

Hmm, good question Chicago.

Either way, hurry up Slim and get me one of those kits ;) I think the '96 needs a fresh turbo anyway.

Slim, of course you can use it.

The other (Mr. T) - B. A. Baracuss (i think)

Now you just need a slogan. How bout "Use our turbos, fool!" or "sucka!". I was never good with slogans.

I ain't gettin' on no airplane, Hannibal!
I ain't drivin' no Power Stroke, Slim!

NO dyno results yet just seat of pants and fuel mileage figures supplied by Turbine Doc and me. I also towed only briefly with the turbo. I hauled 12000 pounds and it was not a problem.

I think that Turbine Doc sent the Mitsubishi Turbo to Ian at Heath for his determination. We may get some dyno numbers from them.

This is not snake oil, lots of work has gone into getting this project to this point.

I am probably going to steal the company name then. I like it !:sifone:

Just finishing up the finer point of shipping and the order. Should be finalized in the next couple of weeks if not sooner.

Well just an update for everyone. I finalized everything and have 20 turbos coming in. I should get the fab parts and everything else lined up within the week. So I hope you guys are really interested; otherwise I am going to be in big trouble with my other half, not that I am not already, but heck misery loves company.

I think TD has put the test turbo through it's paces and we can safely say it is ready for the next step. Trying to get TD to make a install video for me but I think he might be camera shy :svengo: What do you guys think ? should he do it ?

I want to thank everyone for their support this may be the start of something big. Next thing is pre cup revamp and dare say a high output DS-4 IP.

What was the Star Trek motto? to boldly go where no man has gone before, intro the Star Trek theme song:sifone:

Turbos, the final frontier...these are the voyages of the A-Team. To boldly go where no other 6.5 has gone before. To seek out strange new power gains...

(a little help here - if only my high school creative writing teach could see me now) LOL LOL

Go TD go!

Come on TD, don't be shy :D It should nice to get a video install from one of our favorite guru

hmmm, HO DS4?
Well, let me enough time to convince the other half that my stock IP is on the way to fail :sifone:
I need a little extra time, I succeed with the turbo, so if I start talking about the IP now, I'm afraid she will grow suspicious about my concern :eek:15:

Well my other half will get me in my sleep if I keep talking about other projects that use money out of my retirement. Those however are projects Turbine Doc and I have discussed. Goldberg also was interested in pre cup modifications. It will happen, in time.

OK, Now I gotta post a pic when I get home of my "Mr.T" airfreshener. Too bad you did'nt get this together sooner. It might have saved my camper.
