Replacement turbo

well not to digress too much OT 9mm is NATO and plentiful on any battlefield these days, so it behooves one to have at least one of those, Hi Power IMO is the best of the lot for 9mm, .45ACP is tried & true, so I have one of those too, & lots of other toys small bore/big bore & slow or fast that go bang; versatility is name of the game.

lol.....i here ya Doc i have everything but a 9......this has been a station brake....on to the regular programing....

Well, I have received my ATT, now I just need to find some time to install the thing! I also need to find someone with a real scanner to help me set my TDCO. Almost everyone here is on the other side of the country. I only have a Scangauge.

Welcome to the club, installation time is about four hours complete, this is taking your time. My number is in the installation instructions if you need help.

Same boat here. I still have a few other mods to make before the ATT goes in. Saving money isn't the issue...it's the time.

I'll be driving by Havasu on the Cali side of the Colorado Friday. I'll wave as we pass the area. Then again, maybe I'll swing through and point out to the good folks at a local Marine Diesel shop what the difference between an after market computer and an FSD heat sink is..:driving:

Whats up with the local marine diesel shop? They don't speak 6.5 gm diesel talk? :D

Nope. And at the same time, I was in my 5th day of ownership with and SES and no scanner or clue and 3000k miles to go.

Sad to admit, but I was a real :dr: at the time. Now I'm just ignorant on a lot of things still.

I saw the shop, thought to my self, "Self. They should know what it is."
$89 later they said it was an EGR code complicated by an after market computer hooked to the IP!" He wasn't sure what it was for and didn't want to find out. I didn't know either (see previous smilie). They cleared the code and off we went.

It wasn't until I got back to NC and started nosing around the web site again and looking up what "SS Diesel Supply" was that I realized I had really been took:mad2: Turned out to be the EGR solenoid (sp) that was throwing the code.

I had read the DP site up and down pretty good before going out there to buy the truck but without a visual reference nothing really clicked. I was ready to pick up the truck (no pun) and head west to Heath's but it was 300 miles further than I wanted to back track. Live and learn and I have learned. Thanks all.

Sorry for jacking the thread...but to add to the detour.... I like my Glock 21 and Sig 226.):h

OK if you guys can do it so can I :D I am a glock and colt fan 45 only for me. I like a big bang and the flash. If I can't hit them them I can blind them with the muzzle flash ):h.

My 45's are good out to 75 80 feet dead on standing head shot. Now that being said body shots 100 feet and I git er done, quick draws are another thing, those are for close in and I hate the adrenaline rush that goes along with it.

Ok we have this out of our system, baxk to the regularly scheduled program.

Just a note to all folks who've read and followed this thread. I was helping to troubleshoot a client's A Team and KOJO tune last night. Turns out his new turbo and tune was pulling so much air, that it imploded his little cone filter and wouldn't run right. I was pulling my hair out. Turns out, he just needed a good air filter. He's going back to stock K47 airbox.

All A Team Turbo users, be sure you have ample air flow. Your rig now needs it, and will use it all!
