Replacement Air Filter Options

I thought I'd let everyone know, I ordered 2 Amsoil air filters from Wrecker for my Sub and my buddies Dodge and I couldn't be happier. The guy was great to talk to and he gave us an excellent deal with fast shipping. He'll be getting more business from me when the time comes.

Has anyone ever measured air filter restriction? I wish I could recall the actual values we measured a long time ago. A guy tried to sell me a different filter for my stock flat filtered '95. I challenged him to prove I had a restriction problem. So we put a gauge on, hooked on a trailer and went for a spin. As I recall it wasn't measurable. The truck was completely oem stock with egr at the time. When I get the ATT on, we'll have to run some numbers. I would think you would see an issue at the highest engine speed (highest air flow). Or is there something going on at launch, as it trys to take that first breath? I be curious?
