surely it doesn't matter if the replacement came off of a 1500, 2500, or a 3500 series does it?
The 3500 automatically comes with the K47 option.

Here is a picture of what they sent me. After doing some searching I believe this is the light duty box and from what I've read some guys force the heavy duty filter in this box. Also I didn't know what that tube coming out of the front was for?
On mine it lists both filter numbers one for normal conditions one for dusty
Are you sure it doesn't list the other filter for dusty conditions? When I look at your pics it looks like it has the same amount of writing on the box in the same area.
Good score, Bob. I recommend the light-duty filter; it flows better, and unless you're in severe dust conditions, you probably won't need the HD filter.
You might also want to get rid of that turbo muffler on the front of the hose leading to the turbo inlet... TD used a frost plug and some RTV on his, Eddzed pulled the muffler out, cut it off at the far end just before the tab, and put it back in with a hose clamp and some RTV.

Wrecker, for only $60 for either filter I'm sold. Can you tell us the difference between the two available for this box? I've read alot about those filters and they're supposed to be the best and made by Donaldson, iirc?
