If your going to run a 6.2, scare up a later 6.2 Block that uses the one piece RMS.
The cranks are identical in every way.

IIRC Max PF modified his crank to work with 2 piece seal, or maybe it was the opposite.
Gotta tell ya Robyn, your comments have really motivated me to try the same thing. I'm headed south to San Antonio later today. I'm picking up my 6.2 tomorrow morning and bringing it home.Been away for a while this winter, but not too far
Sold off almost all the projects (Blazer and such) and have enough $$$ now to go at the DaHoooley the right way.
Yesterday I stumbled onto a BRAND NEW Chevy 6.5 Block, still in the factory bag for $550.
Going to try and get it home in the next couple days.
Will order a set of heads from Clearwater and then rock and roll.
