Have 6.5 turbo diesel engine want to replace it

I assume the boost bolt works on any stock turbo intake, they will all be like that lower and upper plenum style. However, there are differences in that some have absolutley no signs of an EGR valve mounting position. Others have the riser there but the holes were not cut, and then other had an EGR valve, eliminated it and put a blockoff plate there. As long as the threads go high enough, it would accomadate the varying levels of upper plenum thickness.

I scared a 07+ 1/2 ton 5.3L today with mine  . At the first stop light i was still in Econ setting and he started evin it up right when the light turned green, I mashed on it, took him off the line but he caught me pretty quick. Next light I flipped to Performance, locked in 4x4, and made an attempt at a boosted launch  i wasn't near as easy to catch that time :D

A turned up DB2 can perform similar. My Z71 has nowhere near all of the performance mods done to it, there is more power to be had i think.

How do you do a "boosted launch"?

How do you do a "boosted launch"?
With vehicle in Drive...hold left foot on brake pedal and slowly ease into the throttle with your right foot...when you get to the desired boost pressure on your gauge that you would like to launch at...you abruptly release your left foot off the brake pedal and stab the accelerator pedal to the floor...

I don't know what kind of boost #'s you 6.5'rs launch at(you'd have to ask around) but I launch my Dmax at about 19 psi and 2100 rpms...or basically what ever the brakes will hold back... if it holds to a little higher boost without driving through the brakes, I'll launch at a little higher #'s
