Good price on new Bosch fuel injectors 0432217276

When you say "real Bosch" what does that mean? If German made then I'd pay $650 too, but if nozzle is made in other country I think I'd go for brand new and have them pop tested (or not, depends).
Mine are brand new, real Bosch too. $400.

Thats great then, he must have NOS nozzles cause they ain't made in Germany any longer.

Mine are not the Marine. What are the ones you got?

I had marine's built like the last ones, they work great with the new pump being built... the price may be different if not the 311 nozzles I don't know for sure....

And the pop is set within 25psi of each other....

And yes he knows where the german stuff can be found also...

You should be able to just buy them and throw them in. If you are trying to maximize your power or mpg, then you want to test them, and have them adjusted to set the pop pressure within 25psi of each other. Having them balanced causes the cylinders to be more balanced in power, like having more equal compression would do.

Until I gain some confidence by people having their new injectors tested and posting their longevity, I will probably Not be running new injectors without testing them first.

If you have a local shop who you trust, I'd have them checked, cheap piece of mind. I bought a new set for a customer, before putting them in, going to test them.

I'm not sure. I'd have to check the local diesel shop that I do not use much or one of the shops on this thread.

I guess it depends on what you would charge. It would be easier to get them checked, than to get them and have them checked.

Maybe you could offer it as a paid for option.

That is what I'd have to do. Trying to get a feel for what the service would cost. I couldn't compete with the guy in his garage doing them.

I've never actually had injectors tested. I send them in, they test them, rebuild them, send them back, for a total price. I never really knew exactly what the testing cost

Come on Leroy, you know you want to start testing and balancing injectors!!:greedy::greedy:
If a regular shop does it for $5 ea, and you don't have to drop them off and pick them up, $60 extra to Leroy is easy worth it.
Shimming cost and convincing Leroy is the hard part.

What ya think Leroy, extra $120?

Some charge $5 to test each one then extra to shim them. I'd say adding $20 to test them is fair.
Your saying $60? Thats $7.50 ea I don't know anywhere I could have them done for that. I do have to make it worth my time. If new Bosch injectors are going for that then I'll just pass. I'm way to busy anyway. I'm sure you know the feeling.

I'd say at least $40.

The good thing is, that any that do not pop test good, Leroy can return for a refund.
