Yeah, if you have a shop with a lift. Not that many people out there with a home garage with a two-post or four post lift in it and a cradle jack to lower out the subframe for that once in a great while procedure. Again, for a home DIY'er with a cherry picker and not the ability to get a vehicle 6' up in the air, nor the bucks to take it to a mechanic, the "short cut" is the way to go.
I think this one is closer to 3-4 hours. I could probably dot it much faster the second time.
1) How would you position the cherry picker (2T engine hoist) so that the legs weren't under the subframe you were dropping and yet able to lift the front of the vehicle up? Not from the front or either side.lol I was thinking dropping subframe and lifting the rest of the car with the cherry picker
Don't misunderstand, it took me much longer than that. I watched a video where it took 4 hours for a tech at a shop.
Seems even USPS priority takes about five days, sometimes as phew as three.Last parts were shipped DHL too, took about a week
Does DHL own an icebreaker cargo ship, or skis on their cargo planes for winter deliveries?Last parts were shipped DHL too, took about a week
The other (main?) bearing on that cranks looks like it ate a lot of debris. How are the other bearings, cam lobes, etc?
