I've had quite a few off without ever draining the coolant and never saw any liquid, even started and idled a couple without issuesI thought 4 called for sealant
I dont know why, my Chiltons book calls for PTFE on the second bolts in from each end of the manifold and all the rest of the bolts calls for some kind of a loktite sealant. I thought maybe it is to keep crankcase pressures/oil inside and to keep the bolts from backing out.I've had quite a few off without ever draining the coolant and never saw any liquid, even started and idled a couple without issues
