glad to see you here, and when/if this takes off we would like to see you and your tahoe pass on the rollers... pretty easy right...LOL

There are quite a few trucks we would like to see dyno; for peak power, or comparison purposes, or to have factual data for upgrades. This, we believe will allow guys to make better choices on what to do with their hard-earned money when considering upgrades. We might even get a chance to see a "she went boom video".....LOL.
 
I was thinking of trying for max hp with a stock plunger size pump. I would love to go for all out max power with a four plunger,but should probably do that to a different vehicle.

right now your truck is a daily driver, i see what you mean, full-out power does not behave well on the street....
 
How much is the average dyno run? Where I take mine down the street, it is $75 bucks for 3 or so pulls.
 
I haven't looked around my place, I know of one place, but is a W.W. Williams Detroit diesel shop so they may not do the public. One day I will look in to it, right now I'm still building.

My truck probably wont even hit a dyno... at least maybe not while in my possession.. ;) (there's a slight chance it may take "new" ownership after it's running, but not written in stone).
 
We still have not nailed down a shop in our area able to dyno a drw. Hoping to be able to pass a few times this summer to do some comparison runs.... the $75.00 for three runs is right in our price range though....:agreed:
 
well NMB2 just dynoed at 292 rwhp 377 crank on his 6.9 idi. Evidently the special 150-180cc pump isn't putting out what was expected.

Those are very respectable #'s. Glad he got it on the rollers, now he knows where he is at (in the real world) and can try to improve if he desires. When you think about it, that is the same power, with an IDI (6.9L) that the new trucks are putting down from factory. This is at a fraction of the price..... we say bravo:thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
Okay guys, we have a truck, we would like to see pass on the rollers. Been watching this guy do incredible things to a DB2 pump and achieve amazing boost #'s. We would really like to nominate 6.2turbo's Tahoe to go for a run......here is the build thread for the truck.

Not sure where 6.2turbo is located, but we have a local dyno event coming up end of the month.

Turbonator- you guys are on compd, it's called "spring fling". Located in Dillsburg, PA.

Dyno run is $75 for 3 runs.

we will check it out there, but as for going, not likely...LOL... we need to find a dyno here, there are dynos, but just for ricers.... we need a truck dyno... i think there is one coming up soon just outside of ottawa.....
