I can now sell the kits listed in the title. They are the stainless steel muffler. These will be drop shipped from them and could be 3 or 4 weeks to recieve them as of this time. They are slower to make systems for the 6.5 as there is not as much demand (thats what they told me).
If you want the same exhaust w/out muffler the price is $280

I can get stainless 4to5" tips for $35
4" band clamps if wanted for $20 ea. I'm going to use 2 band clamps on the muffler so it can be removed and straight piped if I want to later. You could also visa-versa and add a muffler later.

From Diamond Eye: 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 & 2001 - CHEVY/GMC 6.5L DIESEL - 4" ALUMINIZED - PERFORMANCE DIESEL EXHAUST KIT - TURBO BACK (OFF-ROAD) SINGLE - 3" (2 PIECE) DOWN PIPE

I have major work to do on my web site so until then PM or email me if you want to buy.

Thanks
Leroy

Excellent Leroy that's great!

I'll be getting hooked up with ya for a SS tip real soon

I would love to try mine without the muffler. Mine has a droan in the cab on my 1500 that drives me nuts under load & above 2.2rpms on the superslab. Not sure what causes it, might be the downpipe as it's close & a couple other areas I had to customize with my 20lb sledge to provide needed clearance's. The frame's on the 1500 must be smaller.

Might try some header wrap on the DP?

I ordered a system for my Burb today and called to check the shipping time, they said it will go out today!! The other rep said 2-4 weeks.

Do they still come with a hat?:D
Looks like you will be getting more of my money:eek:

I like the sound of that :hihi: as business is super slow right now, seems like its even real slow on the forums here lately to??
My injectors to you are in the mail.

The 2 other DE systems I ordered from TV diesel shipped very fast and I'd bet they just drop ship also. Now if we could just get diamondeye to make crossover pipes:???::WTF:

Drone or hitting the frame?
Drone is a need of another muffler, downturn, or other noise canceling tricks in the exhaust. Best is another muffler, straight through, in the 3" section upfront.

You should enjoy the big block V-8 sound you know... :hihi:

On the Tahoe stock OEM with no muff or Cat it is a joy to listen too & a challenge to keep my foot out of.

My 1500 with the DE exhaust not so much. I really am at a loss, I will give the dn pipe a wrap or 2 & see if that is the culprit. I have searched over the entire system looking for rubbing evidence & so far have come up with nothing...??? Very disappointing...

I was thinking the same thing. I might build my own.

I've used the ashland muffler [ebay] on the last 2. They fit very good. Just a little pia to have to go 2 places to get all the exhaust. For the $60 or whatever they cost it isn't worth doing yourself in my opinion. You would have more in the mandrel bends, tube, flanges and other stuff than the price to just buy it, but to each his own.

Can you get the kit w/o DP? I would find a use for it if not but I posted a request in the vendors section and never got a hit.

Plan is to build my own DP for my 93 and straight pipe it all the way out to listen to the holset sing. I wanna act my age and put stacks on it too so a muffler would feel like a waste.

Thats why I said might. I have a couple 90* stainless mandrel bends that I never used for another exhaust project. Im thinking the hardest part would be getting the flare part done.

Hey Leroy, I'm thinking about going with the Diamond Eye setup instead of Walts stainless Hearthrob setup for cost concerns. Well, and shipping and his customer service comments I've read also....

What shipping methods do you offer to Canada?

USPS? UPS ground? UPS worldwide express? etc.

I'm really looking for a way around an unexpected "brokerage fee" at the front door that comes with UPS standard.

I was looking at the same setup with the same price on ebay, but if you can do a better shipping deal than 60 UPS standard they're quoting (world wide express, worldwide express saver include brokerage in the price) we're gonna do some business!

Are you set up to offer a NAFTA certificate for import duty exemptions?

inquiring minds want to know.....;)

USPS would be prefered. It looks like the tail pipe is a two piece, which should get it in a box that USPS will take. You'd have to check if you agreed to ship USPS I guess.

Let me know.

Cheers

Edit:

Whoa, just realized that was 299 shipped. That's one heck of a great deal! I hope you can do something close to that for your brothers from North of 49...

I will have to check on the shipping Monday. I take paypal if it all works out I will email you an invoice.
Don't know what the NAFTA cert is, so I guess I'm not set up

Cool.

I'll wait to hear back from you.

Best price I've seen yet by the way.

Best price by far!

If you can get it shipped USPS, I'll be winging money your way the same day we get a quote!

:)

Also forgot to say, but another member bought from me today and the system was in stock and shipped from a wharehouse closer to him in KY, so again don't know why they told me 2-4 week wait?? Anyway looks like they are shipping out quickly.

so this is aluminized steel, with a stainless muffler, 3inch downpipe, 4 inch rest of system, 299 shipped?

and you will sell stainless tips and stainless bandclamps for additional? what brand of each, and a price confirmation please

also, is there any known fitment issues? I dont want to modify anything, especially the firewall.

finally, is there any hope of a stainless system? or do you plan on obtaining a heartthrob contract? I would prefer all stainless, but around here, aluminized should hold up fine. I really dont want to buy from Some Sertain Diesel shops, as their Service is Subpar, from what I hear. would much rather support those who give a damn about customers, such as yourself.

thanks!

on my de system i had to modify one of the hangers under the bed but it was easy i just had to weld the old hanger on to the new one. except for that it was completley bolt in with minimal work. took longer for me to take the old exhaust off because of a crappy sawzall and dull blades

These are the same systems I used on 2 of my 94 builds. I can get you links and post numbers if you want to see pics of them on the trucks. Once the old pipes are off I can have the diamondeye system on in 20 minutes. Super easy. Much better fit than Hearthrob[ssds] by far.
