Diamond Eye truck and Suburban 4" exhaust turbo back w/muffler $299 shipped

Gasser hangers are the same on most trucks. 97-454 with dual cats may be different.

Problem is most trucks at the junky are laying in the dirt and they don't wanna be bothered with moving it for that.

That sux! :mad2:

My local pick and pull makes jack stands for all vehicles using two old steel rims welded together. It makes the vehicle sit high enough to yank out a tranny.

x2 What DC said. I would go to a real junk yard then. Its going to be so much easier just to swap them out than to fab up something. Why reinvent the wheel?

That's the problem, they won't. I know a place that might let me pull them but it's in Rhode Island. Won't be able to get over there for a few weeks.

Well, finally put my new one on my 93. I hgot lucky and found a 95 2500 6.5 4x4 at the junky. He let me take the hangers and the holes and nuts are already in the 93 frame exactly where they need to be so that was a breeze. Of course that first hanger by the transfer case didn't fit for shit again, someone should really let Diamond eye know. I mean it's no big deal for me as I am a welder but for Joe Hobby who only has a set of Craftsman Clubs for tools, It would be a problem. Aside from that it went on nicely and sounds good. Much better than the abortion 5 inch that was on it. I'll save that for a temp system when I convert the CUCV to Turbo. The downpipe that was on this thing was weird. Never saw a 2 bolt one but it actually looked better than the later 4 bolt ones. Other than modifying the one hanger clamp, it went together nicely. Again, I chose to use band clamps at the muffler so the system could easily be disassembled if I get pissed off and cut the truck up for parts...:rof:
Again, for the price, it can't be beat even if I got screwed out of my buy two get one free...:D
