Corvairwild's No start

Great glad you got her fixed up. So did you go back to buddy's again? I thought you were headed away. If I was broke down I'd like buddy there.
Good looking Burb especialy for $2500. Tail gate is not real common on them. 94 Burb is my favorite.

Glad you guys got it figured out. One more Hobby tune on the road :reddevil:

I see a DB2 conversion in your future with your love of electronics. Tailgates are always in the way...

Tailgate in the way? I def prefer it.. The barn doors have the middle pillar... Junk... And I like the tailgate as a work surface. It's also harder to drive w the barn doors open...

Well I am glad things are looking better for you.... on a side note I am confused about one thing --- where are you from??? I first thought you were from Maine, yes - no ??? did you leave AZ and go to CA to get Buddys help or is that where you now live??

I live on the edge of the Adirondacks near Lake Champlain, and drove my Hyundai 200 miles to a friends house in Maine to leave w him from his airport. Mine is too far away, would require parking @ $10 or so per day. By driving to Portland Maine, his daughter drove us to the local airport, and I'll tow the Hyundai home when we return. We're in Kingman Az now... I'm always behind on my vids, can't keep up!

Great picture! Keep a picture record of your trip home... I haven't been on a holiday for a few years, and if you don't mind, I'll ride along with you guys while you drive.

Happy trails. Been on a few road trips myself and have taken the TTS members along. Seems to have become a tradition. Bought ours in Spokane WA and instead of bee-lining it back to NC, the boy and I went down to RT-66 just inside CA (Amboy) and worked our way back to IL before the February storms there forced us back to reality and home. If I knew now...I'd have headed west to Ellensburge first.
Enjoy the "New" Sub, enjoy the ride, safe travels. "Wagons EAST!"

Can I hitch a ride? I don't have the funds to do any road trips right now, but I'd love to do a pictorial ride.

Don

PS- Oh, by the way, glad you got the problems licked.

Sorry I havn't posted in several days... I'm home, all went according to plan... Approx 7,000 miles, Mrs has been keeping track of the fuel bill, $125 per day for 3 weeks, 1/2 to be paid by my traveling companion. So with the price of the Sub, airfare to Az, and all hotels, meals etc, it's about $6,000, and that's kinda what I'll ask for the Sub when I put it for sale, so if and when it sells, I'll be off Mrs sh*t list.

I still have many vids to post of the trip. My movie make program crashed, the next one I tried had a watermark/bug, and the next one changed my toolbar... whadaPIA!

LOL, good luck with that

So now that I've had my very 1st exposure to OBDI, I'd like to buy a scan tool, so I can see the stuff Buddy showed me. He was using his laptop, so should I use mine? Or buy a dedicated scanner? I'm not very computer savy... My Dell is 5 years old, but works OK... where do I start? I have 2 other Subs, another 94 and a '95.

Big thanks to Buddy for helpin' a guy out!

So.. 7k miles, Turbo Wheezel Suburban... Any MPG figure?

Which route did you cross Ohio?

I plotted the trip at my friends house in Maine, the video needs to be posted. MPG? Low of 16 in limp mode, top speed 58, same at 80mph after Buddy, and 18.5 at 65-70, no A/C. I vidded most of my fill up, the speedo was 1-2 mph slow, so negligible increase if that's calculated. Ohio? did we cross that state lol
