Best way to mount PMD Cable.com's relocation kit.

Glows I got from ssd are acdelco

Are they AC Delco 60g's? If so, you did well. AC Delco 60G and Bosch Duraterm glow plugs are the only 2 glow plugs to use in a 6.5. Until I see something else that has been tried and true, I will stick with that.
You can often get unbeatable prices on AC Delco 60G glow plugs at Autozone.

I bought some stuff from (SSD) Walt. The PMD on intake lasted almost 5 years (approx. 50K miles). It did fail and I moved it behind the grill!!! I bought heads from him once/ they lasted just over a year (9-10k miles) they cracked around the valve spring bases!!!

That's the longevity I was getting with the original black Standynes on the intake. Since they cam e out with the Flight Systems way back when, I have had nothing but troubles with PMD's of every brand. No longevity what-so-ever

OK, finally decided how I am going to do it, as right or wrong, its done and drying. :)

parts list: the pink flight systems pad, ebay bargain new black Stanadyne PMD, Leroydiesel.com heatsink and cable and #9 resistor.

I put the pink pad under the PMD, coated screw threads with anti-seize (in case I ever need to get it off after being in the salt bath) and tightened it to 20-22 inch lbs.

I then took some household style full silicone sealant (GE White Silicone) and went around the base, and then on each screw, and around the seam of the top plate of the PMD. looks ugly, but should be sealed.

put the #9 resistor in the PMD, chipped a corner of the resistor. (let me know if this will be an issue, it was just on the far end) put a little dielectric grease on the plug, and plugged it in.

hopefully will be dry by morning, and ready to try on dad's 96. It wont start ater sitting getting worked on for a couple weeks with the batteries out, and it allways acted weird before, and when we got it the LP was dead, so I am thinking fuel starvation killed the PMD since it didnt have a bunch of excess fuel to dump heat into.
