I never liked the smoked covers, but I gotta say, your truck looks good like that and I think the covers would finish the front of the truck well. That is unless you could figure how to tint them so the covers don't stick out...

It's a double edged sword in that respect. I like the tough work look this gives, but the deluxe one has more class.

Definitely a huge plus in materials, although the sealed beam have no better light pattern than the composites of this generation.

you dont need the extra class of the deluxe grille. the GMC emblem alone adds enough class.

Looks great! Black with tint looks amazing, lol. I can't wait to get my car tinted. I was thinking I was going to do it this spring, but I might not be able to wait...

Maybe it's different there, but price of tint job is always lower here in the winter. Not as many customers at that time so the price drops.

I never wrote a how-to on window tinting, although i have mentioned doing it myself.

Well, I think I have decided to ditch the W/T grille.


Only problem is I can't decide on what lighting setup for the overall truck. Nobody makes good black/smoked forward lighting, and the dually markers and mirror markers aren't available in another other than red and amber.....

Take them to a paint shop and get them painted with a candy coat. I'm not a paint expert but I have seen it done
