Whooo-hoo...

Well that answers that question, Whats the power/ tq potential of these motors? Anything close to a cummins?

I got a line on a 4l80e for this. Anybody know where I can get a standalone controller to mae it work ? I actually got a line on a 1994 k1500 for 1600$ with a 6.5. I may buy the whole truck and cut it up for parts for the cucv.

for a mere 1500$ I now own a CUCV. Pics to follow. Has 58k miles. All original right down the the 24v. Overall good shape other than access port in the drivers floor so if you run someone over you can see if you knew them. Also convienent for dropping out empty beer cans...:D
Now what the  do I do ?? I have 3 P/Us...

24V electrical system or a dual system 12V/24V

Very basic stripped down go getum you betcha off road work horses.

Usually had butt gears that would allow for pulling the A$$ of a bull elephant or worse if need be.

Is this the same one(fire truck IIRC) they said they would have to scrap due to no MSO?

Looks like you'll have to see if that spare parts area of yours is still there. now you've got a use for it all again. ):h

Can't wait to see pics. I just got mine registered yesterday and i'm working my a$$ off to finish up the floors.

NO. This one was auctioned off by sealed bid by the Town I work for. Just in the nick of time. I may need to put plates on it. The Lemon has issues again. Never a car jacker around when you need one.

Stock, less than a 6.5 . It's around 135hp IIRC. But once I jiuce up the IP and put a 6.5 turbo on it it should wake up nicely.
