i have a full 6.5l turbo set up for sale off my 95 c/w heath turbo master. shipping would pricey i think though.

Also, before my rebuild it would never go more than like a mark past 210 even pulling uphill. that was with exhuast, TM, gl4, and 97+ fan.

now with the ATT, 97 waterpump, and all previous mods( stuck with the 95 x-over) i don't go higher than 180-190 even flooring it uphill. i haven't towed anything with it yet though.

Sucks you always had such trouble with heat.

yeah but were those #'s empty or towing ? I think the size of my camper played a part too. My 2000 had the better cooling system and did excatly the same thing. I gotta PM Slim. I am wondering if the ATT would work on a 6.2 and also if it would give me more or less clearence with injectors(6.2s have long).

before the rebuild i towed. Not an rv though. just enclosed cargo trailers from time, but one of those trips was a very trying mountain highway here in bc. long trip, steep grades in 90-95F weather.

the ATT has a larger diameter but sits higher up. its also shorter because of the separate exhaust elbow(removing this gives a lot more room to work ) all in all I'd say there's better clearance.

However, i think its a moot point because i believe the reason the longer injectors wont work is because of the riser for the turbo on the exhaust manifold. they would fit no problem on the front and rear cylinders by the look of it. its just the center two that seem to be a problem.

i was going to take pics but what with the hoses, heat shield, cables etc i don't think you'd see much.

1995 Chevy 2500,4x4, 5 spd, 6.2 .040 over, 18:1 ceramic coated pistons, Ported 6.5 turbo heads,6.5 high pop injectors, A-Team Turbo non waste gate, custom intercooler, gm dual thermo, 130 gph water pump, 3 to 3.5 turbo down pipe to 4 inch Jardine exhaust., custom frame mount FSD cooler. Optical bump, TDC Offset -1.94, Stock Ecm, Heath HP4 chip .

granted the only thing left of the 6.2l is the block! lol

and yeah a turned up db2 should be fine i would imagine, but yeah i guess that's a question for Slim

yeah i'd love to get another 6.2l 4x4 when i get the money. manual trans preferably. turbo it, jack it up and play in the mud :D

If no other reason I want to prove that the radiators are the problems with these trucks. The Rad in the CUCV(as well as civilian version) it tremendous. I am willing to bet if I jiuce the pump all the way, run a 6.5 turbo on it and tow the balls out of it it will never get hot, not even with the dinky little 6.2 waterpump. We'll see. I got the manifolds, just need the turbo(and a truck of course.) I'll bet even with a gm4 it won't run hot...

Already been done with an ATT turbo. One of the members here, 1twisted1, already has a set up in a Blazer body of the same year. Get in contact with him he can give you all of the nasty details.

Yes. The one I'm bidding on is white but I will return it to camo. I have never done camo paint before but I owuld imagine you would paint it olive drap first then hand my 4 yr old some brown, black and light green.

Anybody know how a 6.2 cw water pump flows compared to a 6.5 99+ CCW Wp ?
I'm thinking my best bet is to find a 6.5 truck near death or dead to pull everything I need off of it rather than attempting to piece together. I want to use the serp belt setup which will work out good cause I have to convert to 12v anyway.

Whats a build like that run?

Looking at about 4-5000 for the long block. hi pop injectors about 250 IIRC, A-Team turbo around 740, exhaust 150-250 termostat depends on if you can scrounge used or need to buy new
