4:56 with 235/16 tires and a 3 sp TH400. That's why., A nice set of mil spec 36 tires should even out the gearing a little. Anybody know if there were any issues with the Goodwrench 6.5s ? AFAIK they were made in Mexico but other than that ok.

ehh just drive the dodge in the woods, save the money from not buying something new and repaint/fix any sheet metal damages as needed.. trucks need badul wounds anyhow right? ;)

It would cost more than the CUCV to fix body damage on the Dodg(Mopar parts crazy) plus the Dodge is a behemouth. Way to big for places I go. No roads. Gotta make 'em.

I AM SO PISSED OFF!!! The junkyard where it was called me back and said they have no paper on it and it's getting dismantled. THAT IS A CRIME !! I pleaded with the guy to try harder and I wasn't in a hurry. I'm wondering if it's BS and they got more money from someone else ?? I even said if it takes more time or they need more money I'd wait. They got it from a Fire Dept, How could it have no paper ?

That sucks, Ken...... what yard is that?, so I can boycott them

A lot of FD trucks are never registered so the MSO is what the town should have on file. Check with Broad Brook town hall. I bet they would have it on file. With it being a CUCV, it may be harder, but the towns insurance carrier needs some kind of documentation.

Good Luck...

That's what I'm saying. There is no way this thing was a municipal vechile for years without some kind of MSO on it. I might take a rife over there this A.M. to see if it's still there. It's harder to BS someone in person than on the phone.

Now put the plow on that!!! What an awesome plowtruck.

wait, this a CUCV truck or Blazer? Must be the truck if it has the 4.53's. Still nice, but a 6.5T CUCV Blazer would make a better trail/plow beater.

Saw a guy selling a CUCV with a 4l80 in it. Wants way too much money for it but now I know it can be done. I shot him an email for the specs on the box he used.

If no other reason I want to prove that the radiators are the problems with these trucks. The Rad in the CUCV(as well as civilian version) it tremendous. I am willing to bet if I jiuce the pump all the way, run a 6.5 turbo on it and tow the balls out of it it will never get hot, not even with the dinky little 6.2 waterpump. We'll see. I got the manifolds, just need the turbo(and a truck of course.) I'll bet even with a gm4 it won't run hot...
