I've been on the phone and sat with many RV dealers over the last few months...if an item is standard equipment you simply don't add it in...they don't add it in when they are selling the used units down here either...they only add the optional equipment...it came with a 13.5k btu A/c and it has a 15k...then you check off the 15k and it will add what the difference was between the two...now seeing as we are in two different areas using two different modes of operation I can see where we are at...but down here if I chose to add in everything I would be double dipping on the resale of mine or the dealer would be screwing me over on the purchase...shoot my very old prowler would be worth $1500 if I added in everything that was standard...when in reality it is really only worth about $700($800 with the optional A/C) using true book... I doubt anyone would pay over $500 for it even if it was "cherry"
We're good...and the term "you'd" didn't imply you personally as being dishonest...just using the basis of how it's being calculated here(shown to me by the salesman) and if someone/anyone knowingly tried to double up on the value of some things here what that would imply...
